How about total government surveillance, backed up with powersuits.
Sure, you can attack that supply run, but then the Nihon spy drones
have perfect video footage of the entire country, they just press
"rewind" on the tape, find out who the insurgents are, where they
live, everyone they ever met in the last month, and kill them all.
If data storage densities continue to evolve, that is...
