More than likely -- there's a lot of China to cover.

Wouldn't work -- the drones listed in _BS_ are flight-capable-only;
the Chinese need only go underground, a la the Viet Cong, and the
drones are rendered ineffective.

As the sayign goes, one doesn't control a piece of land unless and
until one places a foot-mobile infantryman on it -- and Nihon flat
doesn't have the population to pull it off. (For a "dark Nihon" cam-
paign like what is suggested in _GO_, this leads to a strategy which
is perfectly logical, perfectly doable, and utterly f***ing horrifying.)
