[Ogre] the problem with Raid

Mike Pelletier has pointed out that the ogre raid scenario, with the
Mark IV Ogre and 6 GEVs attacking a beefed up defensive force (8 armor
and 30 strength points of inf.) doesn't work so well. Even with the
increased reinforcements, the IV and GEVs win every time.

Does this explain it? Using the point value from Ogre miniatures -

Basic Raid scenario:
Defender - 20 strength points inf. and 4 armor = 64 points
            - 6 points reinforcements per turn
Attacker - 10 GEVs = 60 points

Advanced scenario with Ogre attacker:
Defender - 30 strength points inf. and 8 armor = 108 points
            - 9 points reinforcements per turn (average)
Attacker - IV and 6 GEVs = 186 points

In the basic, the attacker has 4 less points than the defender.

The attacker starts the advanced w/ Ogre with 78 more points than the
defender.

That's an 82 point swing altogether, and the defender only gets 3
points more per turn in reinforcements.

The other way to look at it is:

Attacker in advanced scenario - 16 GEV = 96 points
Attacker in Ogre scenario - IV and 6 GEVs = 186 points

The defender only gets 10 more strength points of inf. (20 points) to
compensate.

Anyone else notice how unbalanced this is?
