I gamed with NOVA, for god's sake -- what makes you think I pay
*any* attention to what Steve Jackson says? :) (Not that I ever
paid much attention to the other NOVAites -- they all make the same
sound when they die under my guns.... >:) )

No, it doesn't float -- IT'S A *HOVER*CRAFT! IT *HOVERS*!

How do they manage that, without riding on a flatcar or similar?
Actually, strategic-movement speed is fairly easy to calculate -- take
the MP of the unit, multiply by 22.5, and that's how many kilometers
it can travel in one hour (terrain mods may be incorporated as need-
ed, by adjusting the "MP value" -- for instance, following a road
adds 1 to the MP value, or 2 for a GEV).

Range isn't really an issue for CMs; most modern ones have ranges
in the thousands-of-kilometers range. There's a reason why Europe
has always had a large and virulent anti-nuke protest society. :)

Erm, isn't "X" equivalent to "towed off the field with a mop"?
