Yea, Ogre rules go to the point, can be explained in a zilch, and are 
effective.
If it's not broken, don't fix it.
And that's the politer parts of the replys to Dave's attempt to add an 
interesting OPTIONAL rule.  He certainly doesn't deserve those second degree burns 
for SUGGESTING something that might add a bit to the game.

Sorry, sorry.  I'm overreacting.  Just hate anything that smacks of flaming.

Yeah, sure, I wouldn't use it for regular games myself, but as an OPTIONAL 
rule for a specific scenario...

BTW, I'd go with the "divide each line of treads up into sixths and roll a 
d6.  You must roll that section of treads still partially operational (or lower) 
to get the MP."

This could be easily marked out in the tread lines on Ogre record sheets if 
you're a non-flamer who actually likes the rule...
