After further thinking, the cost for "missiles" must be for
missiles as a _group_ and not for individual missiles. Correct?

David Walend's follow-up:

STUPID QUESTION SEVEN: But where does the "3 for a one-in-three
chance to damage treads" come from? This seems exactly opposite
from the OS factor in the Armor Units Formula (which would be
0.333 in this case).
I still don't get this . . . I suppose that if I want to
make this fit into a version of Henry's equation, I could
get the value "10" with:
((dice damage done * 3.5 average roll) / OS ) etc.
OS = one-shot factor, 1.0, except for one-shot weapons, where
it's 0.333.
This gets the OS factor into the ramming cost equation and
still have the numbers come out correctly.

cost = direct cost + load cost
= [(Atk * (Rng + OR)) + (2 * Def * Rng)]
+ [(Atk * MM * ½) + (Def * MM)] * X
missile (6/5, D3)
= [(6 * (10 + 0.333)) + (2 * 3 * 10)]
+ [(6 * 1.4 * 0.5) + (3 * 1.4)] * X
= direct cost of 112 + [load cost of 8.4] * X
converting "henries" to VPs by dividing by 12, this gives:
= direct cost of 11.2 + [load cost of 1] * X
Damn it! I still can't get what Henry got! Where
am I going wrong?
