[Ogre] How exactly did Japan conquer China?

While I think the Nihon Empire may have conquered China, I don’t think they 
ever completely pacified the countryside. I figure that they were constantly 
putting down local rebellions, reacting to insurgent attacks, and basically 
spending a large amount of time protecting their on logistic bases and lines 
of communications.

I can’t see them dedicating their main line Ogre units to deal with 
guerillas, but I can see them releasing huge numbers of Hunter/Killer drones 
to track down and deal with guerillas hiding in the countryside.
