"As a single oversized page tacked on the end that uses javascript to
move counters around and saves and restores map setups to small files
that can be emailed around."

Sounds alot like cyberboard or aid de camp. Both these programs allow
you to email moves back and forth and then watch the other persons
move. I've also heard that Vassal can do this too, but I don't know if
an Ogre module is done for it yet.

SJG could easily release an official version of Ogre for cyberboard and
pdf the rules. Then you have a 100% digital product. Hopefully the new
people to the game would get hooked on the cyber version and would
eventually upgrade to either paper versions of the games (if in print)
or miniatures.

"Please, have a look a this: www.tumsuden.de Username: ogre Password: ogre"

What a cool pic you've made of the mobile howie. It shows what could be
done if resources were put to Ogre again. Nice work!

Cheers,

Tristan
