Huh? CCGs are bleeding. Gaming if finally recovering from the Magic
blight. The germans led the way with Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico,
and Carcassonne, but now American companies like Fantasy Flight,
Eagle, Days of Wonder (and dare I say Hasbro/Avalon Hill) are coming
online in a major way with big, beautiful, and heavily playtested
games. Have you tried Nexus/Fantasy Flight's "War of the Ring"? Its a
better historical wargame than most actual historical wargames. I
also recommend checking out Days of Wonder's "Memoir '44", a
re-skinning of Avalon Hill's Civil war game "Battlecry".
