[Ogre] Ogre Armor

I asked my brother (a theoretical physicist) and this was his response.


For armor you want it to be tough, which isn't the same as hard.  But this system with all of the rods may also be tough.  This is because a small region of the rods may break, which would take up the energy.  But this system
won't be flexible, so the best it can do is to take up the shock by breakage.

But all modern armor is made of multiple layers, and this may very well make up a layer of some design.
