[Ogre] Scenario suggestion

Scenario: Picking Off The Pieces

Location: southern area of what was once Zimbabwe
Time: Circa 2102

Background: With the final collapse of the Great Nations, those
who had been able to stay out of the fighting decided to take
advantage of the power vacuum. In the case of South Africa,
forces moved northward, snapping up territory that had once
belonged to the Front-Line States, and forming a buffer zone
against the remnants of those same nations' militaries. In most
cases, a mere GEV was sufficient to bring the new territories under
South African hegemony; in a few cases, there was an actual
defense force which needed to be dealt with....

Forces:
Attacker: One (1) OGRE Mk. I (no damage)
Defender: 25 pts. of "Archaic" units [see Special Rules], plus
    one Town hex in hex 0801.
Map: Use the _OGRE_ map: North is off the xx 01hexrow

Deployment:
Attacker: Enters from South map edge, turn 1
Defender: Anywhere in obstructed zone (but see Special Rules)

Special Rules:
1) Defending Forces:
    A) The Defender may only select units from the "Archaic
    Armor" section of _OGRE Miniatures_ (pp. 15-16), as well as
    Militia (p. 18). No other units may be selected.
    B) No more than 13 pts. of the 25 the Defender is alloted may be
    spent on any one unit type; that is, the Defender may acquire
    13 pts. of MIL and 12 pts. of vehicles, or vice versa.
    C) For various reasons, any MIL unit which cannot be put into
    or onto a vehicle must start the game in the Town hex. Those
    MIL units with transport begin the game on/in their transports.
2) The Attacker may attempt to destroy the Town. The Defender
    may *NOT*.

Game Length: Unlimited -- continue play until either: Defender is
destroyed, Attacker is destroyed, or Attacker retreats. (Defender
units may not retreat off-map.)

Victory Conditions:

Attacker Decisive: All Defenders destroyed; town survives.
    (The town becomes SA territory.)
Attacker Marginal: All Defenders destroyed; town destroyed.
    (The town becomes a "lesson" for other resistants.)
Draw: Attacker destroyed; town destroyed.
    (The surviving Defenders become raiders; the area is in chaos.)
Defender Marginal: Attacker retreats; town survives.
    (They'll be back....)
Defender Decisive: Attacker destroyed; town survives.
    (The SAs will have to be more circumspect in future meetings.)
