Your way is more elegant and easier, but I was trying to stay with the 
existing rule structure; i.e., use the cruise missile rules straight from Shockwave. 
I try to avoid changing basic rules mechanics.

BTW; I model aircraft with the cruise missile rules as well; defense zero and 
get shot at by everybody...
