The idea was to trim the set down to about one third or thereabouts.
Then "translate" some of the cards to 'normal' political satire that 
everyone would appriciate.
Naturally, a handful of cards could not be translated, but I know quite a 
few people who would rather have 10 "nonsense" cards than 100.
This is, ofcourse, a purely theoretical excersize, with no bearing on 
anything.
But still - kind of interesting, IMO.

Well, I can't say that I did.
But your point does hold true for any OBD-INWO game I guess.

I would have liked the discard mechanic to be supported by more cards.
A 3-card discard from hand is extremely expensive, IMO.
And the only card to support discard decks is Saucer Landing Strip.
With a few more groups with discard improving abilities, the discard plots 
might become a lot more interesting.
