It's rare for a Damned to gain an attunement - frankly, they're not worth rewarding. However, there are attunements they can acquire themselves: the most important being the File Extraction attunement, which can be learned while working in The Archive.
The Scribes are the informal alliance of Damned with File Extraction. Most of them have zeroed their own records, and spend their days buried in a nook in The Archive, casually reading the records on their fellows.
Of course, the ability to find any record simplifies communication, and many files serve as impromptu bulletin boards and messagin systems for the members. Flame wars are common, and usually end with someone Zeroing the entire file.
Scribes don't waste the opportunity that The Archive presents them with though. Most are skilled Sorcerers, at least at a theoretical level, having spent years learning rituals from the wide selection available. Of course, spending essence on Sorcery would allow their detection, so they prefer the more subtle Rituals, and teach new members one they developed on their own:
Impersonate Useful Lackey (Exquisitus Famulus) (Command/1)
A more servile version of Awe Demon(ling) this ritual uses an understanding of demonic psychology to persuae the target that the Sorcerer is useful but ignorable lackey. Add the CD of a Command + Savoir-Faire(Hell) roll to the demon's reaction roll, so long as the Sorcerer doesn't seek to draw attention. This can stack with the results of a Savoir-Faire (Hell) roll. The ritual relies heavily on being in The Archive; using the ritual elsewhere in Hell would be Command/2-4, on the Corporeal or in The Marches would be Command/5.
Time: 1 Round
Essence: None.
