What about the spirits who are in between?  For example - well,
Sherlock Holmes.  He's fictional.  Pretty much no one really believes
he was a real person...

But people send letters to him, at 221B Baker Street.  All the time.
They've been getting letters there to Sherlock Holmes for over a
century.  Doesn't that make him real, at least a little?
