Burning Tears (Discord)

This discord has cropped up mainly among Servitors of Fire (Divine and
Infernal), as well as Calabim with a musical streak. As a physical
Discord, Burning Tears causes the celestial to weep fire, doing Body
Hits per minute in damage to whatever the tears fall on (and
appropriate Disturbance on the corporeal realm) equal to the Discord's
level. At levels 1-2, the celestial, its clothing, and equipment are
unaffacted; at levels 3-4, the celestial is unharmed, but clothing and
equipment suffers; by levels 5-6, the celestial is vulnerable to the
Discord's fire. This Discord is in effect constantly, though the
celestial can make a Will roll to suppress it for a number of minutes
equal to the Check Digit. A failed Will roll means the celestial
cannot suppress the Discord for [CD] hours. Unless the celestial has
some form of protection from fire (like the Ofanite of Fire
attunement), it will quickly find itself in Trauma or burning through
Essence to sing the Corporeal Song of Healing. Blaspheming Servitors
of Fire whisper that willing subjugation to the Discord at its highest
levels, without attempting to heal the damage, will result in a lower
level of the Discord when one finally wakes from Trauma. Given how
loud these Servitors tend to be, it's generally easier for a Superior
to disband such a discordant angel or demon and start over... or to
strip the Discord and replace it with something equally unpleasant but
less noisy (depending on the brightness of the campaign).
