IN> Tether: LaGuardia Arts (Creation)

Even in New York, as densely populated as it is with Tethers still has
the characteristic that Tethers of a word help encourage additional
Tethers of the Word if they are close enough. Eli's tethers at the
Lincoln Center and Julliard were stabilized by Eli himself, but by the
time that New York City decided to merge the "The High School of Music &
Art" and "High School of Performing Arts" into one campus in the Lincoln
Center area, Eli had started his walkabout. 

 

LaGuardia Arts generated a Wild tether as soon as the move of students
was complete in September of 1984. Normally Wild tethers die off without
stabilization, but this one most emphatically didn't. The Heaven end of
the tether, while remaining in Eli's cathedral, started behaving oddly,
following one member or another of the Committee* for days on end as
long as they stayed within the cathedral. By the late 1980's the tether
end had started showing up for meetings of the Committee.  

 

While the Elohite who resonated the Tether end got a point of dissonance
for doing so out of irritation, but the Divine Intervention he got on it
did give some needed clues on what should be done. The desire for
stabilization came through like a shout and it would be happiest if the
Committee tried to do so, rather than waiting for Eli. 

 

The Committee *thinks* it has succeeded, but still aren't quite sure.
The tether doesn't have a desire for stabilization anymore and certainly
was happier after the Committee tried, but is still very odd. Both ends
of the tether will, while staying within LaGuardia Arts and Eli's
Cathedral respectively, will move in regards to desires of those angels
passing through it and on at least three occasions has actually sucked
Angels of Creation out of Eli's Cathedral in response to Angels of the
Media walking onto the campus of LaGuardia Arts.
