This will probably be the last in the series, as the only other didn't work out well - hope people have enjoyed!

Rite: Spend 4 hours resting in a Toy Store

The need for a Toy Store in the House of Christopher was quickly filled by Marc. Children in Heaven are delighted to find that they have exactly the same base disposable income as adults – one essence per day. There was no way Marc was going to ignore this market, and enjoys working with Christopher. Trade and Children both want children to share, swap toys with each other, and be happy. Both Words also have an interest in helping adults accept their child-like desires. Both Words consider it a victory when an adult - who would never dare buy themselves an "Archangel Laurence Action Figure" -proudly shows off that same figure: because it is a gift from one of their children.
The Toy Store pays rent to Christopher – invariably in toys! The store also trades in second hand toys, making a respectable profit from doing so. When handling trade-ins, staff members are required to check whether the child has attempted to trade their current toy to other children – Marc values the spread of his Word far more than a few points of essence.
The Toy Store is *huge* - and contains large play areas where the children can enjoy their purchases, watched over by the resting angels. These range from small play pens through to indoor stadiums. (Of course, Christopher ensures that the children spend an appropriate amount of time outside, in the gardens of the House). As the largest seller of toys in Heaven, both humans and angels travel from the furthest reaches of Heaven to shop here. Naturally, the Toy Store has a few franchised outlets in Commerce Park – but if you want the widest range of toys, then visit the Toy Store!
