Screamers gain more Discord than other demons, due to the constant threat of ethereal ‘death’. One of Beleth’s enchanters, jealous of Shedim shedding Discord with the Songs of Corruption(LC89), developed the first Delegator. Although Beleth killed him for his impudence, she did find his creations useful, and now several Delegators exist.

A Delegator is a Relic containing a Song of Corruption, with the “Usable by a being who couldn’t otherwise use it”, and “Domain-only” Features. They only exist in Domains formed by using Dream Joining (TM p12 & 34) on the dreamscapes of coma patients and dreamshades. 

The dreamshades who dwell is here are completely mad, riddled with Disadvantages, charmed for weeks at a time by Impudites, bent and broken by Habbalah and Balseraphs. Being assigned here for a few weeks is supposedly a reward for Beleth’s demons, but after dealing with the psychotic inhabitants, the demons start to wonder...

Serving here, whether controlling, tempting or torturing the humans, counts as ‘possession’ for the purposes of the Songs of Corruption, allowing use of the Relic – and hopefully shifting a level of Discord to a human.

Of course, demons aren’t the only ones who can use the Relic. Symphonically Aware dreamshades can do so, and often end up having brutal wars shifting Disadvantages back and forth. Beleth’s Soldiers often get themselves assigned here after death. WordBound can assign their own Servants and servitors here, so even demonlings can serve here. Further, this is one of the best rewards for serving Nightmares that an ethereal can realistically aim for.

Heaven would like to destroy these Domains, but that won’t be easy. The Domains are deep in Beleth’s vale, as the nightmares of the twisted dreamers are particularly foul now. Further, destroying the Domain without soul-killing the inhabitants is problematical. However, Dominic wants this goal given top priority – as there are rumours of *angels* with the Malakite of Dreams attunement sneaking in and using the Relics.
