A scenario where the end of the world was brought about through a
series or misunderstandings and co-incidences? Think the end of the
world in 'Mostly Harmless'. If the co-incidences could have been
easily averted if not for pig-headedness or foolish misunderstandings
even better. (Kobal spent most of the cold war just waiting for that
perfect moment fyi).

Then again maybe the current scenario is his victory condition, what
if soon after the Fall (literally as it happened or even slightly
before would be optimal) Kobal figured out some way to simultaneously
cut off God and Lucifer (or God at the fall and then Lucifer shortly
after Lilith freed the demons) from being able to communicate with
their underlings, if this wasn't the case either party would have
ensured the War ended eons ago. Perpetual, violent stalemate with no
clear leadership (and sometimes no clear reason for fighting) is
Kobal's big joke on the world. Of course it' not quite so funny after
so long, being doomed to be eternally miserable because he no longer
finds his own biggest joke funny (whether it was this scenario or
another) could start him on a redemption trip, or word shift him into
the demon prince of irony.

Or of course, there's Moe's OOPS cycle. Not exactly a victory but I
guess, as has been mentioned, it depends on your point of view.
