Of course, one other response that the Angel of Rainbows might have is 
that of paranoia -- after all, she once served Lucifer, and was a 
ranking Servitor.  In the In Nomine universe, it's entirely plausible 
that there is an intelligent agent behind seemingly-unconnected events 
of evil that befall you, and Lucifer could well have made it a personal 
project to make this particular angel's existence miserable... possibly 
tweaking the psychological stress to see how much of a wreck he can 
make the poor thing without causing her to Fall.

Though yeah, I can see this Angel's reaction to her plight being a real 
indicator of a game's tone.
