Well, there are always underlings who want the Word.  A demon or two of 
Drugs might even be after him for his turf in cough syrup, which is 
used in various concoctions.  He also probably has a surprsisingly 
large influence on the food industry when he spends a burst of effort 
altering the flow of high fructose corn syrup, which is an ingredient 
in *far too many* foods.  For that ramification of his Word, he might 
have some angels of Trade after him, believe it or not, since HFCS is a 
product that distorts the agricultural trade flow rather substantially. 
  Maybe an angel he personally wronged, like a Cherub who lost an 
Attuned that he introduced to cough syrup.

He's not bucking for a Princedom and he's not evil enough to have 
anyone devote their lives to killing him on general principles, but 
he's got enough metaphysical juice to make a decent frontline 
supervisor, which I think makes him a great NPC.  Snagged for the
