This is a rather special little Hell for the fellow, isn't it? It's 
trivially clear that he isn't going to be able to form fellow-feeling 
with this supervisor, and get his chain loosened a little. His only 
wriggle-space is in his supervisor's decision on what might cause him to 
be blown early, and since they don't talk to him without a Seraph 
resonance running, he's really rather stuck.
