IN> New Reality

Here's a part of RL experience that seemed odd.

I was sent on a team building seminar with the rest of my department, and 
the mediator continually talked about our department's goal as "the new 
reality". She continually stated how we needed to realize the new reality 
before it could happen. My manager was there and told us that new employees 
in Orientation will be told not how we curretnly do business, but what the 
"new reality" is...

Am I alone in thinking that a balseraph may be involved here?
