Perhaps "Principal," the first player in a section or on a part; 
"Principale" in Italian, though there's no additional meaning to the 
Italian.

FYI, "Virtuoso" is already a term in In Nomine; it's a person who is 
particularly good with a given Song, so that one might be a Virtuoso of 
the Song of Form.  "Colla parte" means "with the soloist," and suggests 
someone in a vassal-like position, following along with a superior; 
"Colla Voce" means "with the voice," and might suggest that the Vassal 
is following along with *The* Voice, i.e. the voice of the Symphony, or 
of God.

The names you suggest for Gabriel look good to me.
