Aww, I wish the answer had made it into Cycle. As it is, I enjoyed the vague 
hints at the mystery peppered throughout Cycle, especially the Final 
Trumpet, like Valefor being late for a Prince meeting with nothing but a 
flippant response to why, especially with the scene following a Superior 
meeting that Janus would have attended :) And a reference to Valefor having 
stolen items from Archangels during the big confrontation, and his servitors 
all being impressed "and not even having seen him over on the other side".
All very subtle and clever and made me and my players grin with the "inside 
joke".

I hope it sees publication some day, or offifically is canned so you can 
just tell us :) Just to satisfy curiosity.
