I thought that failed mummies were vampires - that is, the process of
making an Undead can have one of three outcomes: the soul fuses with
the body with no complications (a mummy); the soul fuses with the body
_with_ complications (a vampire); or the soul fails to fuse at all (a
corpse or a zombie).
