IN> Mercurians and the Humanity Attunement

If a Mercurian is fighting a Gamester (and not getting any dissonance)
and the Gamester suddenly turns on the Humanity Attunement, the
Mercurian will start getting dissonance, right?

(I consider that however to be dissonance that any Superior will clear
up without a problem. Well, maybe not Uriel, and in a *really* low
contrast game, Dominic)

Also, what does the Humanity attunement do on the Ethereal and Celestial
planes? Presumably, on the celestial plane it enables the Gamester to
appear to be a human soul, not sure on the Ethereal Plane, but if it
does anything, I can't imagine Beleth is happy about it. (Well, given
that she is a Djinn, I doubt she's happy about much, but you get the
idea).
