Possibly originally The Media, out of residual liking for "The Blues

The mall car chase was one heck of a Calabitey scene.

However, I'm thinking Saminga. The Wikipedia article mentions that at
least on rape/murder took place there; that could have been the sacrifice
that redesecrated the site to Death. Saminga likes to boast that one day,
all malls will look like this. (In an unusually metaphorical moment; he
usually takes his Word too literally to claim the deaths of businesses and
institutions.)

Possibly Theft--the article mentions that every metal piece of any value
was quickly taken from the scene. This is probably what Theft would
like *all but one* mall to look like (with the one exception being in 
Stygia.)
Of course, I like a darker Theft than the canonical "smooth criminal" style.
