Beautifully done. I've got chills. One small quibble: if Zacharael is
looking to Jacob's Ladder in the last moments of this story, shouldn't
she be smiling "softly," rather than "sadly"? I'd think the thought of
her Lord above would comfort rather than sadden her, especially if
that's who she thinks is also mourning the Kobalites.
