Yes. Not everyone will be happy with a bright victory.

Not in my setting. :-)
Adam was bitching about Lytheras maintaining the
control over the media he had as Nybbas.
OTOH, your setting would make for a nice, dark
modern horror game as well.
As I said when I came up with this concept of Adam
years ago--when people complain about The Man
keeping them down, they don't realize it's *not a
metaphor.*
>Humans are powerless to oppose Adam. That makes
>ethereals humanity's 'last, best hope'.
>
>Hmm, assassinating the first man as a campaign concept
>- with 6 Force PC ethereals hunting and hunted by a 15
>Force human with billions of underlings, who'll obey
>his commands even when hoping that the ethereals will
>win.
It's his world, we're all just living in it.
Again: not a metaphor.
A deadly campaign that could grow incredibly dark
>- having humans urge you to kill them because they
>can't stop themselves from obeying the order to kill
>you. Plus quisling ethereals and meddling angels.

To use another idea I came up with on this list
years ago: the ethereals may have an ally--Cain.
Adam cannot touch him, or risk God's seven-fold
vengeance.
The First Murderer hopes to find Adam--and then
become the Last Murderer as well.
