Landon, there is nothing in canon to support discord for relinquishing
a geas. The only thing that generates dissonance for a Lilim (not
based on Word, but purely by band) is the *unsuccessful attempt to
call in a geas.* Failing to enforce the "everything has a price"
paradigm is what causes dissonance, not letting someone go. What you
propose is an intuitive extension of the Lilim band dissonance
conditions, but it is *still an extension.* Not canon, and therefore,
not fair to one band unless you're extending dissonance conditions for
everyone else as well.

What makes more sense in-game/in-character is for the Lilim, whether
she redeems or not, to simply not call those hooks due--maintaining
the hook keeps the Game off her back (as much as anything a Lilim can
do to keep the Game off one's back...) and allows her to use the hook
to locate the angel she loves (provided she knows the Celestial Song
of Affinity--which replicates part of the Cherub resonance, and
together with Celestial Song of Motion, allows quick and easy
transport to the angel of her heart as well). Besides, even Brights
keep hooks on fellow angels. Discarding hooks may be a sign of the
Lilim's selflessness and good intent in terms of redemption, but the
act is by no means required. Redeeming Lilim don't automatically lose
the hooks binding them to someone else's service, so relinquishing
hooks on others prior to redemption wouldn't be a necessity, either,
nor likely to happen.
