If she's sacrificing the hook voluntarily, presumably she doesn't feel
it's worth holding on to. She might still be able to get value out of
it, but if she makes this choice then apparently she feels she gets
more value (in improved relations, warm feelings, or whatnot) by
releasing it. That's a difficult lesson for a Lilim to learn, but not
at all beyond the boundary of mundane economic theory. The Lilim
nature can probably handle that.

For example, suppose that she's cultivating a relationship with a
Sorcerer over a long term and wants to convince him that she can be
reasonable with her prices. She collects a few Geas-hooks on him and
voluntarily drops one or two in the early days rather than spoil his
feelings toward the business relationship, leading (hopefully) to a
Sorcerer more willing to charge heavy Geas-hooks later, and even direct
Geases rather than Geas-hooks, because he has an early impression of
her as providing 'good customer service.'

Anyway, it's your game. That's my two cents.

William
