My thoughts exactly.  Plus, it's not TOTALLY
selfless... love's ambiguous that way.  In any case,
it would be appropriately angsty to give her a Discord
that makes the relationship more difficult, or is a
twisted parody of love, like a NEED to see him daily. 
We ain't running no happy-feel-good game, here.  :)
