Excuse the overquoting, but I want to hit several points here.
PyraMOO is linked off the sjgames site, or is there another link I need?
irc.sandwich.net, check. Could run an IN there myself, once I get the software stable.
GURPS has the virtue of being Universal (for tabletop anyway) but I loathe d20 and I really am a LARP snob. ;)
Playing a celestial there and locally would mean having to write two different versions of the same character, which is a complete headache. I'll see how badly I want it!
SSL what?

Why, yes. PyraMOO is a MUSH environment (very similar to IRC), which
has several games of various sorts running. I myself GM an IN game
there (on temporary hiatus for thesis). Depending on what happens with
the SSL switchover, we may be moving that to IRC soon. I used to GM IN
on a private IRC server I know of; don't now, but there are still
several GURPS and d20 games that get RP'ed there, and it's where I'll
move my game if we go to IRC. It's at irc.sandwich.net, with channels
#gurps and #d&d the most RP-oriented that I know of. There are several
games in the process of being organized. IN is known there, but no IN
game is in the works that I know of. On the other hand, if you cared
to write up a GURPS IN character and play it in a crossworld setting,
that's probably *quite* doable -- --snippage----
