Referring to the live game I'm running at Strategicon, not the online
one I'm cooking.
Yes, this does help. To clarify:
Deliliah has to be a Kyrio of Jean because the plot calls for her to
possess various objects aboard ship, rather than generally a person. It
keeps her player in play (by keeping hosts from bumping her out) but
also creates a communication challenge, which worked fabulously last
game for the Shedim player.
SPOILER----Delilah's undead friend/crush/charge has a slight, very very
very very slight, chance of saving his own soul. Infinitesimal, but not
zero. He's in a contract that will restore his life if he fulfills it,
and then he's got a lifespan to try to gain salvation. That's my best
excuse.
And truly--Delilah like too many women I know, loves a bad boy.
As for attunements/Cherubness, I may gloss the latter altogether and
simply describe her as his guardian angel. Rephrase it as 'attachment'
if it comes up at all.

Do you mean Cherub of Jean? Kyrios don't have attuned, they possess
people. Either way, an angel wisting after an undead -- who has no
hope of any afterlife, much less one in Heaven after they've had
dealings most likely with Saminga and at the very least with the
darkest of Sorcerers -- is headed for deep tragedy. Even if the undead
in question has completely seen the error of his ways (he had to
*willingly* undergo the transformation, unless he was forced into a
Coffin of Undeath, which is a concept I don't use in my games), he's
still doomed, as far as anyone knows.

Any angel can be assigned to be a guard/protector to anything an Archangel
thinks the angel should be protecting. Mice can ride in pockets nicely...
The Kyriotate can't be Cherubically attuned, but there are Songs and
relics that might provide a useful substitute. Cherubim are _traditional_
guardian angels, but they're not the only angels who get given "guard this"
jobs.
