If celestial or in The Marches, a Trog can use the
Cold Touch attunement on a demonling with no Corporeal
Forces – barring Lucifer's Intervention, the demonling
will be a stone statuette forever. Take the demonling
to Heaven, and it *will* be trapped forever; and the
Light of Heaven is no threat to the 'unbreakable
stone'.

But these statuettes don't just lie around Heaven –
well they do, but they also serve David's purposes. As
a minor reward, David will hand these out to his
Servitors, with the instruction that they are to award
it to someone else after 'due consideration'. (Due
consideration is never less than a decade, and
sometimes several millennia). The awardee may choose
to award the statuette to someone else – again, after
'due consideration' (in this case, at least as long as
the original Stonie spent).

Possession of a statuette is worth a +1 reaction bonus
from any Stonie – including David himself. Even if you
serve a Word David normally mistrusts, he will assume
that there is something special about you – after all,
he trusts his Servitors, and the statuette was given
to you by any especially trusted Servitor. Since the
statuettes may not be taken out of Heaven, only angels
and Blessed Souls can possess them. 
David will grant an attunement to a being with a
statuette (character points still need to be paid), or
listen very favorably to any request – such as to be
made a Saint (even if the Blessed will be mostly
encouraging someone else's Word). David recalls the
statuette when he grants the boon.

The custom of awarding these statuettes is well known
throughout Heaven, and apparently earth – at least,
Stone assumes that this is why humans have started
giving each other statues of themselves. What is less
well known is that passing on a statuette to another
deserving being is even more highly regarded by Stone
– the original +1 reaction bonus is doubled if  Stone
approves of the new recipient (and yes, they check).
There are few enough cases of this happening that most
Trogs know the names of all of the individuals.
