Flaef's relations with Fleurity should be interesting, especially since
there are probably quite a few demons of Drugs, including the
Wordholder, that can make a number of cogent arguments why the Word of
Antibiotics would be better housed in that organization: Drugs is more
closely related to the ideological material, Drugs is better positioned
to serve Medicine in general, and I have an Unholy AK-47 and an
ambition to be the Demon of Antibiotics.
On another note:
>Demon of Antibiotics: 1). Flaef can automatically diagnose a sufferer
>from a disease treatable by antibiotics (he gives out this ability);
>2). Flaef can cure a sufferer from a disease treatable by antibiotics
>by having sex with him or her
One wonders if Flaef is responsible -- directly or indirectly,
deliberately or inadvertently -- for the particularly nasty and
persistent myth among certain affected populations that "sex with a
virgin cures AIDS." Now, note that this rumor badly affects the Word
of Medicine even in its infernal connotations, and is bad for the Word
of Lust on all but the most immediate timescale -- long enough for even
a moderately bright Lustie to get the drift, and obviously already
clear to Andre. So one of, probably, three things is happening:
(a) Flaef is desperately hoping that Andre doesn't connect the dots
between him and a bad side effect of a bit of repeated indulgence a
while back, since even a fairly effective Servitor like him could still
get disbanded for a foul-up that bad.
(b) Flaef has another hobby that involves hunting down a certain
Samingan, ex-Makatiel, with a talent for spreading bad habits.
(c) Flaef is mildly impressed and equally exasperated with the talking
monkeys' aptitude for efficient viciousness, but isn't immediately
concerned with the matter, by and large.
