Truth. In IN, unlike many horror movies, the guy cannot pledge his
family's souls to Hell. However, Asmodeus might be able to force
SMF to accept Geases to corrupt his family. And he probably could
get a metaphysically binding contract on SMH to get his family's
Corporeal bodies turned over to demons. Maybe for
straightforward slaughter and sacrifice, but if Asmodeus is
directly involved, probably something more subtle: Discords
inflicted on them, maybe. ("You see, you bear the Mark! That
proves your soul is damned!")
