An interesting line of thought.  Er, not to nitpick, but the Logos in 
John 1 is Christ, not the Holy Spirit.  However, it/he *is* also the 
personification of God's creative wisdom.  John may have got the idea 
from Philo Judaeus, a Jewish philosopher of Alexandria and a 
contemporary of Christ's.  But the basic idea was current in all 
Hellenistic philosophy of the period.
