The only reason that I can think of would be Kobal somehow convincing 
Asmodeus that a) One or both of the Demon Princes eaten by Haagenti are 
actually still alive inside Haagenti and b) have been shirking their 
duties as Demon Princes.

Yes. You must invent a new *game* where Asmodeus can not learn all the 
rules until he is dead... (Of course this describes the Fall and Hell 
itself, perhaps.)
