Well, unless i am mistaken, a Kyrio of animals gets to as a choir  
(Celestial forcesXTotal Foces = Number of forces possessed). No  
macguffin required, there (Jordi, he's everywhere you want to be).
Also, Word Forces add to regular forces for the purpose of this  
(right? I cannot find my GMG to confirm... rather large grain of salt  
here). So, again, that is more than 18.
Aside from that... the whole setting posits a nuclear weapon opening  
a huge rift between the corporeal and ethereal realms. Which is...  
pretty macguffiny, i think.
