To add things back on a IN topic as well.
Bits... On or off, sounds very "Seraphish" for me. 

Relating different parts of the computer to different Choirs.

Seraphim - The actual data, mostly down at the bit level, but somewhat 
higher.

Cherubim - Virus and Spam protection, Firewalls, etc.

Ofanim - Data transfer, modems, other parts that connect one part of the 
machine to the other

Elohim - Central Processor, I guess.

Malakim - No clue (unless they start adding parts to the computer that go 
back through the lines and strangle the people sending spam to me. :)

Kyriotates - Parallel processing. *very* good alignment here.
