I don't mean to drag this off-topic, but on Gate they're two entirely
separate universes with their own separate cosmologies. There has been
significant cross-polliniation of the settings (the Death Gods know
about Celestials, and vice-versa), and two of the IN characters (a
Balseraph of the Game and his Malakite of Judgment
partner/nemesis/meatshield/buddy (don't ask)) actually went on a
diplomatic mission there.

And then there's the Renegade from Death who's experimenting with
Hollows, and the little trip the Balseraph made to the Urahara Shop to
buy a few things...
