Now that is a fine idea, have a wad of Essence yourself.  It would all
make a sense if Y and K both know that Jacob's ladder leads to
oblivion, not paradise.  However unpleasant his duty, Kronos has to
accept the only way to save humans is to damn them - a task that is
even harder because all the other celestials are still playing the game
forwards.
