Using realistic technology, which is the major place where you care 
about spin gravity, it's very unlikely that the primary spacecraft is 
capable of ever getting off the ground in the event that it landed, so 
streamlining is pointless. On the plus side, it's likely to be nearly 
unattackable and unstealable on any planet where the logical PC action 
isn't to meet the locals in space.
