Post-Apocalyptic Catamaran v1.0 (TL7)

  No reasonable disaster could flood the entire surface of Earth without 
a change of plate tectonics and geological timeframes, but a water world 
is a good adventure background.
  The Post-Apocalyptic Catamaran is a converted sailing yacht. She might 
have had radios and GPS at some point, but those are long gone, replaced 
by large crossbows to launch harpoons or other darts. An electric winch 
helps undersized crews - there should be a deck hand in addition to the 
helmsman. 
  A full load of ammunition and provisions is $2,850 (at listed prices).

Subassemblies: Body +5, Mast +1, two full-rotation Open Mounts -1. 
Powertrain: 1,000-sf bermuda and jib rig; 25 sf solar cells; 2,000-kWs 
  lead-acid battery.

Design Notes
  Cheaply made (to represent wear and tear). Body is 1,983.66 cf, with 
catamaran hull and average hydrodynamics. Mast is 12.5 sf. Open Mounts 
are 1.92 cf each. Structure is standard, light. Body armor is standard 
composite, mast armor is standard metal. Waterproofed. 13.98 cf empty 
space. 300 darts are stowed in the Body. Empty weight is 12,000 lbs.

  The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third 
printing, January 2007 errata], VXi and VXii (including the armor volume 
rule) with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
