As far as I can tell, all the different variations are lumped together
in one big paragraph.  I interpret that to mean that they are merely
cosmetic differences to the same basic mechanic.  They all seem to
work the same and are priced the same way.  If the authors had
intended the different variations to work differently, they would have
separated them out into different paragraphs or subsections.

Here's what I would do.  Buy the more expensive form as its base form,
then pay the 15 points for the alternate.... 'disguised' form?
