This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. The files at omeyer.gmxhome.de are down until
I fix the automatic PDF generation, which should be one of these
days - see sourceforge.net/projects/gurpsml

The 'double issue' of this week presents the same vehicle twice, once
as a Vehicles design and once with the new Spaceships rules, even if it
is not really a spaceship. The Spaceships design is a bit underarmored,
but otherwise a good match.
Space Marine Multipurpose Lift Vehicle v1.0 (TL11)
Copyright 2009 by Onno Meyer
The Space Marine Multipurpose Lift Vehicle can operate on the surface
of most planets or in low orbit. Usually MLVs are deployed by dropships
while the interstellar transport waits in the outer system.
The basic variant of the Multipurpose Lift Vehicle carries two pilots
and eight troopers in cramped conditions. It is armored to resist small
arms fire and armed with a rapid-pulse 1.44-MJ laser in a remote turret.
Other variants include a command post vehicle with six workstations, an
ambulance, a maintenance vehicle, and a drone control vehicle.
The NPU can recharge one laser shot every 17.5 seconds.
Subassemblies: Body +4, full-rotation Turret +0.
Powertrain: Two 20,000-lb. vectored super reactionless thrusters;
2,250-kW NPU; ten 450,000-kWs rechargeable power cells.

The basic variant of the Multipurpose Lift Vehicle carries two pilots
and eight troopers in cramped conditions. It is armored to resist small

Other variants include a command post vehicle with six workstations, an
ambulance, a maintenance vehicle, and a drone control vehicle.
The MLV has a 10 ton (SM+4) unstreamlined hull. It has stealth and
dynamic chameleon.
