This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. My site is down for rebuilding, but sooner or
later the old stuff should reappear at omeyer.gmxhome.de

Stealth Sensor Array v1.0 (TL11)
Copyright 2009 by Onno Meyer
Starships emplace the Stealth Sensor Array in orbit around primitive
worlds, for routine surveillance or perhaps to prepare a first contact
mission. The primary wideband EM array covers wavelengths from visible
light to microwave radiation. From a low orbit, it can resolve details
down to 10 cm. The secondary hyperspectral sensor covers even more of
the EM spectrum at a lower resolution. The Array can maneuver at 0.25
G, fast for a satellite but less so for an interstellar craft. Active
and passive stealth systems give it the radar signature of a grain of
sand, and the thermal signature is hardly larger.

expensive composite. Self-sealing. 10.17 cf of empty space. Empty weight
is 1,000 lbs.
The vehicle uses the design rules from Vehicles [second edition, third
printing, Dec 2004 errata] and VXii (including the armor volume rule)
with the text format from Vehicles Lite.
Next Week: A moon buggy for Traveller.
